Women In Ghana
Ghanaian women face significant challenges in their day to day lives. Increasingly, women are getting out of their home jobs as home makers and are forced to combine their work at home as mothers, wives and homemakers and their jobs outside the home. Ghanaian women generally take care of the children all the time. No institutions created to help them adapt motherhood into their social life or sharing child-related responsibilities with the babies father, Ghanaian mothers keep their infants and toddlers always close. They tie them on their backs with a piece of fabric and take them everywhere they go; they stay home if their children are sick.
